Someone had asked this question in a Facebook group “I have SCAL 2 how do I go about creating this design? 

Currently, there are many people using their Expressions with the Sure Cuts A Lot 2 program. The great thing is, you can upgrade to SCAL version 4 and still have the ability to cut to your Cricut Expression. Create your design in SCAL 4, export it as an SVG or use the Send T0 – Sure Cuts A Lot 2 feature. There is no fear of installing SCAL 4, they can reside on the same computer. It’s a separate install and will not overwrite SCAL 2.
